Rich Walsh is an American Sports Anchor and Reporter for KDKA-TV CBS Pittsburgh. He previously worked as a sports reporter for WPXI. Walsh anchored sports at WTRF in Wheeling, West Virginia before joining WPXI in 2005.
Walsh is a recipient of prestigious awards for broadcasting and his charity work. Most recently, Walsh was recognized as Pittsburgh’s 40 under 40 for raising more than $200,000 in memory of his father, Tom, who died from Leukemia in 2009.
Walsh is a former captain of Pitt’s track and cross-country teams at the University of Pittsburg. During his free time, he enjoys running and most of his time is spent on the golf course.
In addition, Walsh is highly involved in the Pittsburgh community and serves on various boards, including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the University of Pittsburgh Varsity Athletics.
