Carrie Underwood is an American singer, songwriter, author, and actress. She rose to fame in 2005 after winning the 4th season of American idol. Her debut single, “Inside Your Heaven”, made Carrie the only country artist to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Additionally, Underwood became the only solo country artist in the 2000s to have a No.1 song on the Hot 100. Her debut album, Some Hearts, released in 2005, won three Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist.

Carrie released her second studio album, Carnival Ride, in 2007. The album had one of the biggest opening weeks of all time by a female artist and won two Grammy Awards.

In 2009, she released her third studio album, Play On. Carrie went ahead and released her fourth album, Blown Away, in 2012 where she achieved the second best-selling release by a woman and winning also a Grammy Award with the album.

Her fifth album was released in 2015. The Album, the Storyteller, made her the only country artist to have all studio albums reach either number one or two on the Billboard 200 chart. In 2018, Underwood released her sixth album, Cry Pretty, which made her the only woman to top the Billboard 200 with four country albums.

On March 3, 2020, Carrie released her debut book, Find Your Path, which was published by Dey Street Books. The fitness and lifestyle book became the New York Times bestseller, debuting at number two on the How-To and Miscellaneous list.

The album debuted at number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums and at number two on the Billboard 200.
